We have three state-of-the-art asphalt plants strategically located in Goochland, New Kent, and Warsaw, but we’re not limited by our facilities. Lee Hy Construction has strong partnerships with other local asphalt manufacturers, allowing us to remain competitive anywhere in Virginia. At each of our asphalt plants, we manufacture a wide selection of asphalt materials for our projects, and we’re a primary supplier for other paving contractors in Central Virginia.

Our team also works closely alongside other partners to provide additional services to our clients. With close ties to other businesses in striping and guard rail and reflector installation among others, our team can assist you in navigating your paving projects from start to finish.

Asphalt is a 100% recyclable resource. According to NAPA (National Asphalt Pavement Association), “more than 76.2 million tons of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) and nearly 950,000 tons of recycled asphalt roofing shingles (RAS) were used in new asphalt pavement mixes in the United States during 2017. Reclaiming and reusing the asphalt cement in RAP and RAS saved more than $2.2 billion in 2016 compared to the use of virgin materials and saved nearly 50 million cubic yards of landfill space from reclaiming RAP alone.”

Lee Hy Construction accepts recycled asphalt paving at our facilities and sells RAP to contractors with the need for it. We use RAP in our own asphalt mixes, as well.
